Small Bathroom Window Treatments
You might decide that you want bright curtains on your bathroom windows instead of blinds. If possible, get a swatch of the material you are thinking of using, and hold it up in front of the window. Are you able to see through the fabric when it's sunny outside? If you can then at night when you're in the room with the lights on, people on the outside are going to be able to see in right through those curtains, too. Of course, you can always have them lined, but the extra cost of lining them is something you need to consider before committing to buy.
Not to mention Indoor Shutters window treatment that looks great in the bathroom. Most can be painted (and untreated wood will need to be painted to protect it from the heat of the bathroom) and you can let your imagination run wild thinking about the various color options for window treatments with great impact.
Most people are aware of the fact that color plays an important role in the appearance and ambience of the room. Dark colors tend to attract the wall, making the room appear smaller. Light, bright colors visually enlarge the room, so that it looks bigger than the actual footage is square.
In your bathroom, use a neutral and pastel-colored light to expand the room. Shades of sand, cream and pastels like peach and blue skies all the nice color for a bathroom. Walls and ceilings should be kept as light as possible, by contrast (but still bright) colors on the edge and face the door. Bath rugs, shower curtains and window treatments also should be kept light, with patterns or designs that cover the same color from the palette.
